Close to the apartment, just 1 km away, there is the cable car to the Vigiljoch, the nearest mountain to Lana, which is ideal for long or short winter hikes and snow shoeing. Close to Lana you’ll find two ski resorts: Meran/Merano 2000 and Schwemmalm-Ulten/Ultimo. The base of the Meran/Merano 2000 funicular is only 12 km away while the base of Schwemmalm is 25 km away. Both are easy accessible by car. Another great option for skiing in South Tyrol is the glacier of Schnalstal/Val Senales, 45 km from Lana. If you prefer rest and relaxation in a warmer atmosphere, visit the Therme Meran/Terme Merano spa which is only 8 km away.
